Alan Saret is an American artist, born in New York City in 1944. He is known for his abstract sculptures and installations that explore the relationship between form and space. Saret began his career in the 1960s, experimenting with materials such as fiberglass, wood, and plastic to create dynamic and colorful artworks that challenged traditional notions of sculpture. His work has been exhibited at major art institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art. Saret continues to create art and lives and works in New York City.
